A Quick Thought

 

The mind and the body have toiled   

             

They have challenged and they have been challenged

 

The days have not all been spent in work though

They have had good times

 

When time has permitted, they’ve even looked to the sky

 

And the future of the absurd proved to be quite entertaining

 

But why did the clocks lie on the desert floor?

 

Well, never mind, it was only a quick thought
